"Heard some people recommend the carbonara here so made a visit to this place. I'd like to start by saying you can't really order the pasta till about 11.30 to 12. I got there around 11 and they took my order but took about an hour for the pasta to arrive. I was happy to wait however. I did try hard to look for the info prior to visitonv but couldn't find it. The deli meats were really good, loved the bresaola. It was my first time having porchetta this way and it was ok. I wasn't too big of a fan of the bread though. The pasta is the main star of the show. Pasta cooked perfectly, the crispy guanciale and the cheese and sauce all came together well. However it's a bit hard for me to recommend at $38, possibly due the quality of ingredients."

"In a city with plenty of (average) Italian restaurants, Norcino is a a shining star, along with its house cured sausage and Guanciale, to their flavoursome pasta and an interesting steak program, 2 year dry aged wagyu anyone ? along with one of the best tiramisu in Sydney. Service is great too. Whichever time you come, breakfast lunch or dinner."

"Started with the arancini which was crunchy and tasty but the highlight was the pasta. I had the gricia - I was initially underwhelmed by the seemingly small serving as it came to the table but I was soon grateful that it hadn't been bigger as the dish was so rich and filling! Service was friendly but a little slow. Tables were crowded into a small space so I was sat uncomfortably close to the guy behind me. Prices were high - and I get that the quality of the ingredients is high too but drinks were also expensive. But then, back to the pasta ... which was amazing - and the reason why I'll be back again."

"Made a booking for two people for Sunday dinner. Waiter was attentive and polite but not overbearing, and was able to suggest an alternative menu item when the one we wanted to order wasn't available (supplier issue I believe). Really appreciated that they asked us if we would like to wait in between courses, it made the whole experience more enjoyable, and we didn't feel overwhelmed, rushed or too full. Everything was so delicious and fresh, and from the open kitchen we could see the chef cooking with ease and expertise. It was also very kind of the chef to split the pasta we ordered for us - no difficult sharing or mess on the table! We would 100% come back, and I couldn't recommend it enough. Can't wait to try other menu items next time!"

"Expect to be wisked away to an authentic Italian experience where everything is made in Italy including the staff!! Incredible handmade salami’s and air dried meats the food experience took me straight back to Italy without the cost of an airfare! The Trippa Romano was fabulous with house made focaccia and the Pici pasta was exactly how I had experienced it in Florence. Delicious!!! Highly recommended and don’t forget to order a take home pack of meats and cheeses which will be lovingly sliced by the head chef."

"Beautiful simple Italian food were the quality of the ingredients just shine. They were incredibly accommodating with regards to vegan food, made a beautiful pasta for me. Starters (pizza blanca, marinaded peppers, olives, eggplant) were fantastic too. Non vegans with me loved the cheeses."
